DECEMBER 31, 2015

1:56 a.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to a possible burglary in progress at a residence on South Jacob Smart Boulevard after the homeowner discovered a broken window. No persons were found inside or on the property.

4:33 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 18 mile marker in reference to a dark colored tractor trailer.

4:49 a.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the intersection of South Jacob Smart Boulevard and East Adams Street in reference to a possibly intoxicated black female walking into traffic. The subject left the area prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

5:17 a.m. – A domestic dispute between 2 female tenants was reported at The Siesta Motel at 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

10:36 a.m. – A black Hyundai Accent and a white Ford Ranger pickup were involved in a collision at the intersection of North Logan and East Wilson Street. No injuries were reported.

12:42 p.m. – Keith Lamar Garvin was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center after being found intoxicated and passed out on the business property of the Short Stop BP Station at 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

1:00 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 28 mile marker in reference to a silver Dodge Charger.

4:29 p.m. – Two males were reportedly arguing in front of the Sunoco Station at 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a vehicle being towed.

4:38 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted at The Pink Zebra Store at 10688 South Jacob Smart Boulevard after suspicious items were found outside of the business.

4:55 p.m. – A Ford Escape and a Kia Sedona mini van were involved in a collision on I-95 South around the 20 mile marker. No injuries were reported.

5:26 p.m. – A complaint of fireworks being ignited was filed at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue.

5:28 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Short Stop BP Station at 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a black male running into traffic.

8:03 p.m. – A complaint of fireworks being ignited was filed at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue.

8:23 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted at a residence at Baytree Apartments in reference to children possibly being left inside of the home alone.

8:56 p.m. – A routine review of surveillance footage at the Quality Inn Motel at 221 James Taylor Drive revealed a black male stealing a 32″ television from a vacant room on December 30th at approximately 5:30 p.m. The footage is being reviewed for suspect identification and pending charges.

9:23 p.m. – A possibly intoxicated white female was reported in the parking lot of the EZ Stop IV Station at 80 Blue Heron Drive.

10:56 p.m. – An escort was conducted at The Siesta Motel at 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to 2 recently evicted tenants being removed from the property.

11:50 p.m. – A blue Mazda 3 was involved in a single vehicle collision on I-95 North around the 21 mile marker after the driver lost control and left the roadway striking the center median guard wires. No injuries were reported.

DECEMBER 30, 2015

2:37 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 18 mile marker in reference to a U.S. Foods company delivery truck.

3:06 a.m. – A suspicious person was reported on Brandon Cove in the North Ridge Community in reference to an allegedly intoxicated white female knocking on random doors.

8:05 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 18 mile marker in reference to a burgundy Honda.

9:20 a.m. – A domestic dispute between a male and a female was reported at a residence on Sailfish Circle in the Carters Mill Estates Community.

10:05 a.m. – A larceny was reported at the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street after a routine review of surveillance footage revealed a white male stealing store items on December 29th 2015.

10:53 a.m. – A white bicycle was reportedly left abandoned on Wise Street.

2:37 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 16 mile marker in reference to a black GMC Yukon.

2:56 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on Highway 278 West in reference to a gold Chevy Malibu.

3:14 p.m. – A green Nissan Armada and a white Infinity convertible were reportedly racing on I-95 South around the 23 mile marker.

7:40 p.m. – A complaint was filed at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue in reference to numerous subjects standing around in the parking lot area consuming alcohol and smoking marijuana.

8:29 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 14 mile marker in reference to a white Honda Odyssey.

9:08 p.m. – A white tour bus was reportedly leaking fuel while traveling North on I-95 around the 20 mile marker.

10:25 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the intersection of West Main and South Green Street in reference to a white female.

DECEMBER 29, 2015

2:09 a.m. – A trespassing complaint was filed at the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street in reference to a group of subjects in a black limousine refusing to leave the property when ordered by staff members. The group ultimately left the business property without incident prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

4:58 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Dukes Barbecue Restaurant at 10190 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a silver Saturn passenger car.

5:06 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the KFC Restaurant at 8146 East Main Street in reference to a silver Mercury.

7:29 a.m. – A silver Jeep Cherokee was involved in a single vehicle collision on I-95 South around the 21 mile marker after the driver lost consciousness due to a medical condition and struck a guardrail.

8:36 a.m. – A report of gunshots being fired was filed in the Ridgeland Lakes Community in reference to the Fordville area.

9:06 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at a residence on Eleanor Avenue.

10:35 a.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted with traffic control at the intersection of Grays Highway and Malphrus Road after a vehicle disregarded a stop sign and struck a South Carolina Highway Patrol vehicle. No injuries were reported.

11:27 a.m. – A suspicious person was reported at Ridge Point Apartments at 669 North Green Street.

11:55 a.m. – A storage building at J&M Towing at 163 South Green Street was reportedly entered and rummaged through sometime during the nighttime hours. No items were reported missing.

12:15 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 28 mile marker in reference to a black Chevy Silverado pickup.

12:51 p.m. – A white transit van was involved in a single vehicle collision on I-95 North around the 19 mile marker after the driver lost control and became stuck in a roadside drainage ditch. No injuries were reported.

4:08 p.m. – A white female driving a blue Nissan Xterra was reportedly asking passers by for money at the intersection of West Main and North Green Street.

5:07 p.m. – A gray Ford Explorer and a white Honda Accord were involved in a collision in front of the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store at 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

5:52 p.m. – Two subjects were reportedly fighting on the roadside by the I-95 South entrance ramp at the exit 21 interchange.

9:39 p.m. – A noise complaint was filed at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue in reference to several subjects standing around in the parking lot area playing loud music on a car stereo.

DECEMBER 28, 2015

1:26 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Check Into Cash Store at 8225 East Main Street in reference to a silver Ford Mustang. The same vehicle was reported moments later at the McDonalds Restaurant at 8548 Grahamville Road.

7:55 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Jasper County Courthouse at 265 Russell Street.

8:58 a.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to a domestic dispute between a male and a female at a residence on Bailey Lane where Andrew C. Loxton, 23 of Ridgeland SC, was ultimately placed under arrest by Deputies and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center under a charge of assault & battery 3rd.

10:31 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at a residence on McTeer Street.

11:07 a.m. – A report was filed at a residence on East Woodlawn Street after the homeowner discovered that an unknown person had entered their silver Lexus ES300 during the nighttime hours sometime after 12:30 a.m. No items were reported missing.

11:31 a.m. – A silver Mercury Grand Marquis and a black Ford F150 pickup were involved in a collision at the intersection of North Jacob Smart Boulevard and Wilson Street. No injuries were reported.

12:33 p.m. – A suspicious male was reported at a vacant business property at 11469 North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

1:40 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on Grays Highway at the Airport Road intersection in reference to a green Mercury Grand Marquis.

2:12 p.m. – A female subject was reportedly walking North on I-95 at the exit 21 interchange.

4:26 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 19 mile marker in reference to a white GMC Sierra pickup.

7:49 p.m. – Glenn Edward Carmichael was placed under arrest at the EZ Stop IV Station at 80 Blue Heron Drive after refusing to leave the property when ordered by on duty staff members following several instances of him asking customers and passers by for money in the parking lot. He was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center where a trespass notice was served against him for the business property of the EZ Stop station.

8:05 p.m. – A verbal domestic dispute between a male and a female occurred at a residence on East Main Street where responding Officers found both parties to be intoxicated. The female ultimately left the residence on foot after refusing the Officer’s offer for a ride to a motel and ignoring his warnings of the consequences of being drunk in public resulting in her being placed under arrest at the Logan Street intersection and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

9:20 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 18 mile marker in reference to a white tractor trailer.

DECEMBER 27, 2015

2:40 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported on East Main Street in reference to a red Honda.

2:43 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Jaspers Porch Restaurant at 153 James Taylor Drive in reference to a burgundy Chevy Impala.

10:01 a.m. – A domestic dispute over a cell phone between a 21 year old female and her ex-husband was reported at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue. The male reportedly later returned to the residence at 1:44 p.m. and began making threats towards the female before again leaving the area.

10:40 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 37 mile marker in reference to a white Jaguar passenger car.

12:38 p.m. – A report of illegal drug activity was filed at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue.

2:01 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted at a residence on Sailfish Circle in the Carters Mill Estates Community after an open line 911 call was received by Jasper County Emergency Services.

2:25 p.m. – A case of possible animal neglect was reported in reference to two pit bulls tied up outside of a home on Wiley Street.

5:03 p.m. – A silver Volkswagen and a white Dodge were involved in a collision on I-95 South around the 20 mile marker. No injuries were involved.

5:46 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on Nuna Rock Road at the Taylor Mill intersection in reference to a small white passenger car.

6:15 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 21 mile marker in reference to a dark blue Dodge van.

6:28 p.m. – Ridgeland Officers traveled to the Jasper County Detention Center at 12008 North Jacob Smart Boulevard in service of an outstanding warrant on inmate Debbie Lane Spann who had been arrested at a residence on Pecan Grove Lane by Jasper County Deputies serving an outstanding General Sessions bench warrant. Spann’s charges with the Ridgeland Police Department stemmed from an April 30th 2015 traffic stop at the Burger King Restaurant at 8257 East Main Street where she was arrested and charged for driving under suspension and resisting arrest. She then failed to appear in Ridgeland Municipal Court to answer to the charges on June 29th where she was found guilty during a trial in absence and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

6:39 p.m. – Three vehicles were involved in a collision on I-95 South around the 23 mile marker with no injuries reported. The drivers of each agreed to exchange information without involving a collision report.

8:30 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the EZ Stop IV Station at 80 Blue Heron Drive in reference to a male subject in the men’s room screaming. Responding Officers found that the man had fractured or possibly broken his ankle at which point EMS was dispatched to the scene ultimately transporting the subject to Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville for treatment.

10:55 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 22 mile marker in reference to a black Hyundai passenger car.

DECEMBER 26, 2015

1:17 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on Grays Highway at the Green Street intersection in reference to a white Nissan Maxima.

10:32 a.m. – An open door was discovered at a vacant residence on North Green Street. No persons were found inside and the property was secured by responding Officers.

11:13 a.m. – A domestic dispute between a male and a female was reported at a residence on Shadetree Street in the Carters Mill Estates Community. The male party left the residence for the remainder of the day of his own accord.

12:05 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Dollar General Store at 8123 East Main Street in reference to a possibly intoxicated white female.

12:18 p.m. – A red Chevy Aveo was involved in a single vehicle collision on I-95 North at the exit 18 interchange after the driver lost control and left the roadway becoming stuck in a roadside drainage ditch. No injuries were reported.

2:07 p.m. – Officers responded to the basketball court area of the Carters Mill Estates Community after a male known as “Blue” lured a 14 year old female acquaintance into a wooded area where he attempted to sexually assault her before being chased from the area by several friends of the victim.

3:14 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 18 mile marker in reference to a blue and green tractor trailer.

3:32 p.m. – A noise complaint was filed at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue in reference to several subjects standing around in the parking lot area playing loud music on a car stereo.

4:20 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 27 mile marker in reference to a gray Jeep.

4:38 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 22 mile marker in reference to a white Jeep Wrangler. Responding Officers ultimately stopped the vehicle for failure to maintain the lane of travel around the 23 mile marker where driver Karen Ann Goucher was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as Blatchley’s Towing took possession of the vehicle.

5:21 p.m. – A blue Ford Expedition and a silver Honda Ridgeline were involved in a collision on I-95 North around the 18 mile marker. No injuries were reported.

6:27 p.m. – A disturbance was reported at the Short Stop BP Station at 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a black female customer threatening the store owner.

6:40 p.m. – Two suspicious persons were reported at Turpin Park at 901 North Logan Street.

8:55 p.m. – A harassment complaint was filed at The Palms Motel at 10735 South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

10:08 p.m. – Several persons were reportedly standing in the roadway on Hagin Drive shouting and threatening to shoot one another. No subjects were found in the area by responding Officers.

11:27 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the parking lot of the Wendys Restaurant at 8480 Grahamville Road.

DECEMBER 25, 2015

12:11 a.m. – A complaint was filed at a residence on North Logan Street in reference to suspicious sounds heard outside of the home.

12:20 a.m. – Jasper County Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on Rice Shire Road where one of the parties involved, Joseph Habersham Jr., was found to be listed as a wanted person by the Ridgeland Police Department. He was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Ridgeland Officers to be transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. Habersham’s charges stemmed from a June 28th 2015 incident at The Siesta Motel at 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard where he forced a 28 year old female into his vehicle before driving her to Logan Street where he began choking her. The victim was able to fend off her attacker and escape the vehicle but was pursued into a wooded area where she was sexually assaulted before the suspect fled the area.

12:21 a.m. – A suspicious person was reported at Turpin Park at 901 North Logan Street.

3:11 a.m. – A noise complaint was filed at a residence on Shadetree Street in reference to loud music coming from a neighboring home.

3:17 a.m. – A fight involving several individuals was reported in the Oakridge Trailer Park Community at 700 North Green Street. All suspects left the area prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

3:33 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Dollar General Store at 8123 East Main Street in reference to a silver passenger car.

5:13 a.m. – A blue Honda Odyssey and a tan Chevy Traverse were involved in a collision on I-95 South around the 22 mile marker. No injuries were reported.

10:33 a.m. – A complaint of fireworks being ignited during the course of the previous night was filed at a residence on East Main Street.

11:23 a.m. – A civil complaint was filed by a caller in Atlanta GA in reference to a recent transaction at the Ridgeland Check Into Cash Store at 8225 East Main Street.

4:13 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 22 mile marker in reference to an orange passenger car.

7:24 p.m. – A verbal dispute was reported between two female tenants at The Siesta Motel at 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard. One of the parties involved was transported by EMS to Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville with complaints of stomach pains.

8:15 p.m. – A loitering complaint was filed at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue in reference to individuals standing around in the parking lot area.

DECEMBER 24, 2015

1:01 a.m. – A blue 1999 Ford Explorer was turned over to A-1 Towing for removal from the area of North Jacob Smart Boulevard and Nuna Rock Road after being left parked and unattended with a portion of the body blocking a lane of travel.

5:01 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 34 mile marker in reference to a silver tractor trailer.

11:20 a.m. – A welfare check was conducted at a residence on Shadetree Street in the Carters Mill Estates Community in reference to a 2 year old infant having a laceration on his head. The child’s guardian declined EMS response.

12:19 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 22 mile marker in reference to a white Ford Explorer.

12:33 p.m. – A suspicious male was reported at the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store at 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

1:59 p.m. – A black Chrysler Sebring and a red Chevy Silverado were involved in a collision in the parking lot of the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 8225 East Main Street.

2:40 p.m. – A 6 year old male was discovered wandering alone at Saul’s Funeral Home at 310 West Adams Street. The child was returned to his home directly across the street without incident.

3:29 p.m. – A road rage incident was reported on I-95 South around the 22 mile marker involving a black Toyota Tacoma pickup and a green Jeep in reference to a female driver throwing an item from her vehicle which struck the complainant’s.

3:56 p.m. – A report of illegal drug activity was filed on Wise Street by the East Woodlawn intersection.

3:57 p.m. – A dispute between 2 females and a male was reported in the parking lot of the Short Stop BP Station at 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard after one of the females began shouting profanities and throwing items at the other. Both parties left the area prior to Law Enforcement arrival but were contacted shortly after at separate locations where each gave a different account of events.

4:46 p.m. – A harassment complaint was filed at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue in reference to unwanted telephone calls from the complainant’s estranged husband.

5:01 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 28 mile marker in reference to a black Chevy Silverado.

5:10 p.m. – An intoxicated black male riding a bicycle was reported at the intersection of West Main and Russell Street.

5:55 p.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to a residence on Driggers Lane in reference to a harassment complaint and possible gunshots being fired outside of the home.

6:18 p.m. – A report of possible gunshots being fired was filed at a residence on Tillman Road.

7:14 p.m. – A domestic dispute between a male and a female in a silver Chevy Silverado pickup was reported at the Star Point BP Station at 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard. The vehicle left the area prior to Law Enforcement arrival and no calls were received from the alleged victim who was dropped off at a residence on Rice Shire Road.

8:20 p.m. – A domestic dispute between a male and a female was reported at a residence at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue in reference to an argument over a cell phone.

10:38 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the intersection of Church Street and McCormack Avenue in reference to an older model Lincoln.

11:27 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted on a gray Saturn left unattended on the I-95 South exit ramp at the 21 mile marker.

DECEMBER 23, 2015

12:19 a.m. – A white Dodge Stratus was involved in a single vehicle collision on I-95 North around the 22 mile marker after the driver lost control and slid off of the roadway. No injuries were reported.

6:02 a.m. – A black 2015 Chevy Cruz was reported stolen from a residence on Eleanor Avenue after having been left unlocked overnight with the keys inside sometime after 6:30 p.m. December 22nd.

8:27 a.m. – A gray SUV was reportedly traveling North in the Southbound lanes of I-95 around the 12 mile marker.

8:54 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 25 mile marker in reference to a red Dodge Dakota pickup.

11:06 a.m. – A burglary was reported at 25 Brabham Street after a suspect allegedly forced entry and stole electronics from the business.

11:52 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 29 mile marker in reference to a white Ford van.

12:02 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 28 mile marker in reference to a burgundy and white tractor trailer.

4:43 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted at the Southeast Pyrotechnics Warehouse at 11142 North Jacob Smart Boulevard after a customer entered the store and observed an open window but was unable to find anyone inside for more than 30 minutes.

5:34 p.m. – A beige Ford Explorer and a black Lexus Is300 were involved in a collision in the parking lot of the Wendys Restaurant at 8480 Grahamville Road. No injuries were reported.

7:41 p.m. – A white Cadillac and a white Ford Crown Victoria were involved in a collision in front of the McDonalds Restaurant at 8485 Grahamville Road. No injuries were reported.

8:24 p.m. – An assault report was filed at a residence on Brandon Cove in the North Ridge Community in reference to threatening Facebook posts.

DECEMBER 22, 2015

1:16 a.m. – Two males were reportedly trespassing at a residence on McCormack Avenue. The subjects fled the area on foot along with the caller’s son prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

1:43 a.m. – A report of gunshots being fired was filed at a residence on Rosa Lee Wright Lane.

7:03 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Jaspers Porch Restaurant at 153 James Taylor Drive.

9:13 a.m. – A domestic dispute between a Mother and her 17 year old son was reported at a residence on East Wilson Street.

10:02 a.m. – An 18 year old female resident of Grahamville Road was transported by Ridgeland Officers from Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville to Beaufort Memorial Hospital for a mental evaluation.

1:25 p.m. – Anthony Bernard Gibson was placed under arrest at the Jasper County DSS Office at 10908 North Jacob Smart Boulevard and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center in reference to an outstanding warrant issued against him by the Ridgeland Police Department. Gibson’s charges stemmed from a September 4th 2015 incident where he was arrested and charged after several complaints of him asking customers and passers by for money in the parking lot of the Family Dollar Store at 73 South Green Street. He was then found guilty of the charges in Ridgeland Municipal Court on September 21st and placed on a time payment plan which he failed to comply with resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest.

2:42 p.m. – A black Ford Fusion, a gold Mercury van and a blue Chevy Cobalt were involved in a collision on I-95 North around the 22 mile marker. No injuries were reported.

2:55 p.m. – A gray Chevy Tahoe and a green Nissan pickup were involved in a collision on I-95 North around the 21 mile marker. No injuries were reported.

3:00 p.m. – A dog was reportedly left alone inside of a Dodge Stratus with no air circulation in the parking lot of the DSS Offices at 10908 South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

3:37 p.m. – A blue Honda Civic and a white Cadillac Escalade were involved in a collision at the intersection of East Main Street and South Jacob Smart Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

3:37 p.m. – Officers responding to a vehicle collision at the intersection of East Main Street and South Jacob Smart Boulevard observed Roberto Carlos Navarette-Flores behind the wheel of a blue Honda Accord stopped in traffic playing his car stereo at a volume which could be heard hundreds of feet away. Flores was asked for his driver’s license in order to be issued a noise ordinance violation citation at which time he stated that he does not possess one. He was then ordered to pull his vehicle to the side of the roadway which he ignored and continued driving South on Jacob Smart Boulevard. One of the Officers on scene caught up with Flores as he pulled into the parking lot of the Family Dollar Store at 73 South Green Street and entered the business where he was soon after placed under arrest. A check of his driving record revealed him to have a previous conviction for driving without a license stemming from an October 1st 2015 traffic stop at the intersection of Wood Duck and Sisters Ferry Road resulting in the current charge being enhanced to 2nd offense. He was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as J&M Towing took possession of the vehicle.

5:48 p.m. – A domestic dispute involving several individuals was reported at a residence on McCormack Avenue.

6:16 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at a residence on East Wilson Street.

6:28 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at a residence on Bailey Lane.

6:52 p.m. – A black Mercury SUV, a gold Chrysler mini van and a Freightliner tractor trailer were involved in a collision on I-95 South around the 18 mile marker. No injuries were reported.

9:27 p.m. – An assault was reported at a residence at The Siesta Motel at 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a male and several females arriving on scene attempting to instigate a fight with the complainant.

10:06 p.m. – A disturbance was reported at a residence on McCormack Avenue in reference to friends of the complainant’s son causing problems with the homeowner.

10:42 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the New Hong Kong Restaurant at 8176 East Main Street.

10:54 p.m. – A blue Ford Fiesta was involved in a single vehicle collision on East Main Street at the James Taylor Drive intersection after the driver lost control and overturned the vehicle striking a light pole. The driver was entrapped for a short time but ultimately extracted with no reports of injury.

12:58 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 33 mile marker in reference to a white Ford F150 pickup.

7:00 a.m. – A small quantity of marijuana contained in a discarded clear plastic baggie was discovered at the Ralph Tuten Memorial Park at 8281 East Main Street by Town Maintenance crew members. The item was turned over to Law Enforcement for destruction.

8:09 a.m. – A welfare check was conducted on a homeless black female on a bench on East Wilson Street in front of the Jasper County DSS Offices.

9:42 a.m. – A civil dispute was reported at a residence on McCormack Avenue in reference to questions regarding eviction proceedings.

10:59 a.m. – A domestic dispute between a male and a female was reported at the Econo Lodge Motel at 511 James Taylor Drive.

1:06 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 20 mile marker in reference to a burgundy Chrysler.

3:51 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted on a white male standing on the I-95 overpass on Smiths Crossing.

4:47 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Grayco Building Supply Store at 119 Industrial Park Road.

4:54 p.m. – A white male driving a black Hyundai was reportedly brandishing a handgun at other motorists traveling South on I-95 around the 20 mile marker.

5:25 p.m. – Nathaniel Gil Burrison, 56 of Ridgeland SC, was discovered heavily intoxicated and lying by the roadway at the corner of West Main and North Jasper Street. A family member soon after arrived at the location and took custody of him.

8:23 p.m. – A blue Lincoln Town Car and a tan Ford Explorer were involved in a collision in front of the Short Stop BP Station at 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

8:38 p.m. – A black male riding a moped was reportedly causing a disturbance and throwing items at the Ridgeland Coin Laundry at 10246 South Jacob Smart Boulevard. The subject was last seen turning East on Augusta Avenue.

10:20 p.m. – A complaint was filed in reference to fireworks being ignited on North Railroad Avenue. The persons responsible were soon after located and ordered to discontinue the behavior.

DECEMBER 20, 2015

3:39 a.m. – Ridgeland Officers traveled to the Jasper County Detention Center at 12008 North Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to service of an outstanding warrant on inmate Edward Dwayne Garvin who was listed as a wanted person by the Ridgeland Police Department. Garvin’s charges stemmed from a bicycle which was loaned to him on February 2nd 2015 with the understanding that it be returned within a 48 hour period. After failing to return the property or make contact with the rightful owner a warrant was issued against Garvin which was later served on February 25th following his arrest by another Agency. He was then found guilty of the charges in Ridgeland Municipal Court on March 23rd and placed on a time payment plan to settle the Court ordered fines which he failed to comply with resulting in a second warrant being issued for his arrest.

6:04 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the TGS Land Surveying Office at 162 Second Avenue.

6:22 a.m. – A blue Mitsubishi Lancer was stopped for numerous moving violations at the I-95 North entrance ramp at the exit 22 interchange where driver Darelle Shacore Roberts was found to be operating while under the influence of alcohol as passenger Henry Lee Graham III was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. A check of the South Carolina tag displayed on the vehicle revealed it to have been expired since July of 2014 as well as being registered to a Mazda passenger car resulting in an additional charge against Roberts. Passenger Henry Graham initially provided Officers with his brother’s state issued identification card during the stop but refused to provide his true name until several hours later when he was positively identified by a second Ridgeland Officer. Both suspects were transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as Elite Towing took possession of the vehicle with the tag being removed for turnover to the SCDMV.

7:53 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North traveling between Hardeeville and Ridgeland in reference to a white passenger car with damage to the rear bumper.

9:11 a.m. – A gray Chrysler 300 was reportedly struck by a rolling shopping cart in the parking lot of the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store at 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

10:03 a.m. – A pressure washer was reported stolen from behind a residence on Great Swamp Road. The incident was captured on surveillance video which is being reviewed for suspect identification and pending charges.

11:00 a.m. – A stray brown and white puppy was reported at the intersection of East Main Street and North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

11:36 a.m. – A harassment complaint was filed at the Waffle House Restaurant at 8185 East Main Street in reference to unwanted text messages and telephone calls.

12:36 p.m. – A silver Hyundai Sonata was stopped in the parking lot of Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue after Officers spotted Shakerra Shontae Garner, who is known to have a suspended South Carolina driver’s license, behind the wheel. Upon turning into the Baytree parking lot Garner quickly parked the vehicle and climbed across the center console in order to exit the front passenger side attempting to declare that she was not driving the vehicle. A check of her driver’s license information revealed her to have 2 previous convictions for driving under suspension appearing on her record at which time she was placed under arrest. Garner immediately became argumentive and began shouting profanities resulting in an additional charge of public disorderly conduct. Officers soon after discovered that Garner is also listed as a wanted person by the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to a September 18th 2015 traffic stop on North Green Street where she was arrested and charged with driving under suspension. She was later found guilty of the charges in Ridgeland Municipal Court on October 26th and placed on a time payment plan to settle the Court ordered fines which she failed to comply with resulting in 2 warrants being issued for her arrest. She was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as the vehicle was allowed to remain legally parked and secured.

1:19 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 18 mile marker in reference to a gray GMC Yukon.

3:54 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 17 mile marker in reference to a red Chevy passenger car.

4:58 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted at a residence at Devonwood Apartments at 137 Captain Bill Road in reference to a 71 year old female not being in contact with her daughter in West Virginia for an extended period of time.

6:16 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Jasper Technology Office at 262 Third Avenue.

9:48 p.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to a residence on Fordville Road after an elderly homeowner heard suspicious knocking.

10:54 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 11 mile marker in reference to a dark 4 door sedan.

12:51 a.m. – A 20 year old male from a McCormack Avenue residence was transported to Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville in reference to a mental health evaluation pick up order issued by the Jasper County Probate Office.

1:42 a.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to an incident at Club Pluto at 8812 South Jacob Smart Boulevard after security personnel detained an unruly male patron.

2:31 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 22 mile marker in reference to a Jeep.

4:07 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported on I-95 South around the 18 mile marker in reference to a silver SUV.

5:55 a.m. – A domestic dispute between a male tenant and a female guest was reported at The Palms Motel at 10735 South Jacob Smart Boulevard resulting in the female breaking a window glass when asked to leave the property. Donna Steeple was last seen walking North on Jacob Smart Boulevard by the Wilson Street intersection.

12:10 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at a residence on McTeer Avenue.

2:35 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported traveling East on Highway 462 in reference to a red Ford Explorer.

2:52 p.m. – A black female was reportedly asking passers by for money in front of The Morris Center at 10782 South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

3:21 p.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to a fight in progress behind a residence on Old House Road involving 3 intoxicated family members. Glenn Edward Carmichael, 52 of Ridgeland SC, was ultimately placed under arrest by Deputies and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center under the charge of assault & battery 3rd.

4:33 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Ridgeland Baptist Church at 1448 Grays Highway.

5:11 p.m. – Sharon A.Taff, 49, and Ricky Sullivan Carter, 23, both of Hilton Head SC, were placed on trespass notice for the business property of the Family Dollar Store at 73 South Green Street at Management’s request following a suspected shoplifting incident.

DECEMBER 18, 2015

12:07 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the New Hong Kong Restaurant at 8176 East Main Street.

1:15 a.m. – An attempted vehicle theft was reported at a residence at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue after the vehicle owner was awakened by a neighbor in reference to 2 black males and a black female gaining entry into her Honda Accord in the parking lot. All suspects fled the area in a burgundy Pontiac Grand Am carrying with them several children’s Christmas gifts stolen from the Honda when the victim went outside to check her vehicle. Information obtained from the complainant revealed that there was a spare set of keys to her vehicle inside of a Pontiac Grand Am stolen on yesterday’s date from the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street which the suspects likely used to gain entry into the Honda without triggering the alarm.

2:05 a.m. – A welfare check was conducted at a residence at Woodridge Apartments at 414 South Logan Street after a female tenant was not heard from for an extended period of time. The complainant was ultimately able to contact the female who explained that she had been sleeping and not heard the telephone prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

3:07 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Palmetto Veterinary Clinic at 409 South Green Street.

8:15 a.m. – A complaint was filed at the Jasper County DSS Office at 10908 North Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a homeless female sitting in the lobby area spraying bleach on herself. The complainant did not wish the female to be placed on trespass notice but only wanted her to be warned to discontinue the behavior.

9:08 a.m. – A forgery was reported at the Center Court Sportswear Clothing Store at 8205 East Main Street after a payroll check cashed on November 9th, 2015 was returned by the bank being listed as fraudulent. Information obtained from the home health care service listed as the issuer of the check revealed that the suspect who presented it is not and never has been an employee of said company. A warrant affidavit has been filed against Denise Chiquita Washington, 24 of Beaufort SC, charging her with forgery.

10:23 a.m. – A black Mazda passenger car recently reported stolen out of Savannah GA was spotted by Patrol Officers traveling North on Highway 17 as it exited the Star Point BP Station at 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle immediately accelerated in an aggressive manner continuing North and turning onto Frontage Road into the Spring Hill area. The occupants were quickly identified through witness statements and surveillance video as Officers began canvassing the area in search of the vehicle. The suspects were later spotted just after 11 a.m. walking in front of the Advance Auto Parts Store at 10424 South Jacob Smart Boulevard where they were taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Ridgeland Police Department. All three suspects, a 16 year old black male, a 15 year old black male and a 14 year old black female, were ultimately charged with breaking into a motor vehicle stemming from a 1:15 a.m. incident at Baytree Apartments and several counts of theft and possession of a stolen vehicle stemming from the black Mazda as well as the December 14th theft of a tan Jeep Grand Cherokee from the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street which was later recovered on Griffin Street in Savannah GA, the December 16th theft of a gray Nissan Maxima from the Star Point BP Station at 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard which was later recovered at a residence in the Spring Hill area and the December 17th theft of a burgundy Pontiac Grand Am from the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street which was later recovered behind the Ridgeland Coin Laundry at 10246 South Jacob Smart Boulevard. All three were transported to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice Detention Facility in Columbia SC. One of the male suspects involved was recently released from custody stemming from previous motor vehicle theft convictions and the other is a primary suspect in a recent armed robbery as well as 2 shoplifting incidents.

11:48 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 21 mile marker in reference to a white Honda CRV.

12:19 p.m. – A gray Dodge pickup and a blue Chevy passenger car were involved in a collision at the intersection of North Jacob Smart Boulevard and East Wilson Street. No injuries were reported.

12:32 p.m. – A larceny was reported at the Hargray Storage Facility at 308 North Railroad Avenue after several tools were stolen from inside of a company owned van parked in front of the business.

3:15 p.m. – A domestic dispute between a Mother and son was reported at a residence on McCormack Avenue.

3:30 p.m. – A stolen vehicle report was filed at a residence on East Adams Street after a domestic dispute between a male and a female ended with the male party taking the female’s black 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo SS bearing South Carolina tag number LUG-700 without her permission. The incident is said to have occurred on December 17th around 8 p.m. but wasn’t reported until today’s date as the complainant expected the suspect to return the vehicle without having to contact Law Enforcement. Charges are pending against Robert Mitchell Jr., 60 of Ridgeland SC, in reference to the theft.

4:47 p.m. – A stray dog was reported at Turpin Park at 901 North Logan Street.

4:55 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on Grahamville Road in reference to a burgundy Ford F150 pickup.

5:03 p.m. – Sammy Washington, 43 of Ridgeland SC, was reportedly seen at a residence at Heron Crossing Apartments at 72 Heron Crossing Road. Washington is listed as a wanted person by the Ridgeland Police Department as well as the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

7:40 p.m. – A black Hummer and a gray Toyota Camry were involved in a collision in the parking lot of the Wendys Restaurant at 8480 Grahamville Road. No injuries were reported.

9:08 p.m. – A black Toyota SUV was reportedly blocking a lane of travel at the intersection of West Main and North Green Street.

10:20 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 30 mile marker in reference to a light blue Chevy pickup.

10:34 p.m. – A missing person report was filed at a residence on North Green Street after the complainant’s 24 year old sister failed to return home after leaving on December 17th at 4:00 p.m. to see a male subject in Hampton SC whom she had never met but had been corresponding with on a social media app. Several attempts to contact the female were made by the complainant as well as the responding Officer without success. At 3:30 a.m. Officers spotted a white Jeep Patriot traveling East on Grays Highway which matched the description given of the missing person’s vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted at which time the female was found to be safe and returning home explaining the reason for no one being able to contact her was that she had no cellular service in the Hampton area.

11:38 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 21 mile marker in reference to a black Honda Accord.

DECEMBER 17, 2015

3:29 a.m. – A silver Toyota Corolla was stopped for speeding on I-95 South around the 23 mile marker where driver Colby Keating was found to be operating under a suspended Virginia driver’s license as well as having no proof of valid insurance. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as the vehicle was released to a licensed passenger with Keating’s permission.

9:42 a.m. – A property damage complaint was filed at the Plantation Inn Motel at 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

10:59 a.m. – A routine review of security footage at the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street revealed a previously unreported incident involving a black male stealing store items on December 16th around 11:00 p.m. The footage is being reviewed for suspect identification and pending charges.

11:27 a.m. – Hardeeville Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at the Motel 6 at 128 Independence Boulevard where the complainant reported that a female subject had borrowed his blue Toyota Tacoma pickup from him on December 16th and failed to return it. The female later called the victim and stated that she had left the vehicle in the parking lot of the Siesta Motel at 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in Ridgeland after an unknown male pointed a handgun at her in the parking lot. The female failed to report the incident to Law Enforcement and no vehicles matching the given description were located at that location.

11:50 a.m. – A black Volvo SUV and a white Chrysler mini van were involved in a collision in front of the Ridgeland Post Office at 7554 West Main Street. No injuries were reported.

12:49 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted at an East Main Street residence after a 3 to 4 year old child was reported walking alone on the sidewalk on East Main Street. A passing male then picked up the child who pointed to the East Main Street home which the male then carried him back to.

1:16 p.m. – An open door was discovered by the Property Manager at the Ridgeland Weekly Rentals at 67 West Woodlawn Street after a recently evicted tenant left the area unsecured.

1:55 p.m. – A report of illegal drug activity was filed at a residence on McCormack Avenue after paraphernalia was discovered inside of the home.

3:25 p.m. – An assault was reported at the intersection of Carters Mill Road and Shadetree Street in reference to 2 males fighting on a school bus. The initial incident was found to have occurred outside of the Ridgeland town limits at which time the case was forwarded to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

5:28 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 19 mile marker in reference to a white Lexus passenger car.

11:44 p.m. – A burgundy 2001 Pontiac Grand Am bearing South Carolina tag number LGR-176 was stolen from the parking lot of the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street after being left unlocked with the engine running while the owner entered the store. Surveillance video of the incident is being reviewed for suspect identification and pending charges. The Ridgeland Police Department would like to remind the motoring public that leaving your vehicle unattended and running, even for a only few seconds, not only places yourself and your property in danger but is also a violation of South Carolina State Law section 56-5-2570 which states that “No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it to stand unattended without first stopping the engine, locking the ignition, removing the key and effectively setting the brake thereon and, when standing upon any grade, turning the front wheels to the curb or side of the highway.”

12:06 a.m. – A green Mercury Grand Marquis was stopped for a suspended and obstructed tag violation in the parking lot of the EZ Stop IV Station at 80 Blue Heron Drive where driver Matthew Gene Hatchell, 19 of Ridgeland SC, was found to be operating with no valid insurance coverage on the vehicle. He was cited for the offenses and assigned a court date prior to leaving the area as Scott’s Automotive took possession of the vehicle.

2:09 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at Turpin Park at 901 North Logan Street in reference to a Mitsubishi Galant.

9:07 a.m. – A gray Nissan Sentra and a white Hargray Communications Ford van were involved in a collision at the intersection of North Logan and East Main Street. One occupant was transported by EMS to Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville.

10:00 a.m. – A harassment complaint was filed at a residence on Malphrus Street in reference to a female causing problems with the complainant.

10:32 a.m. – A 40″ Insignia television was reported stolen from a rented room just after the previous guest checked out at the Carolina Lodge Motel at 8260 East Main Street. Surveillance video is being reviewed for suspect identification and pending charges.

12:07 p.m. – A fight between 2 males, one allegedly armed with a handgun, was reported at Turpin Park at 901 North Logan Street. The suspect fled the area in an older model gray BMW passenger car prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

5:10 p.m. – A gray Ford Taurus was stopped for a turn signal violation at the intersection of Grahamville and Henry Lawton Road where driver Cherylann Betty Dishmon was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as Webster’s Towing took possession of the vehicle.

5:19 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on Highway 17 traveling North between Hardeeville and Ridgeland in reference to a green Nissan pickup.

5:50 p.m. – A gray 2013 Nissan Maxima bearing South Carolina tag number 439-1HF was stolen from the parking lot of the Star Point BP Station at 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard by a black male after being left unlocked with the engine running while the owner entered the store. Surveillance video of the incident is being reviewed for suspect identification and pending charges.

7:48 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Short Stop BP Station at 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to Sammy Washington, 43 of Ridgeland SC, who is listed as a wanted person by the Ridgeland Police Department as well as the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

10:30 p.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to a residence on Cherry Hill Road in reference to a harassment report involving Joseph Habersham Jr., 40 of Ridgeland SC, who is listed as a wanted person by the Ridgeland Police Department. The suspect left the area heading West on Highway 462 prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

11:29 p.m. – A property damage report was filed at a residence on East Main Street after a broken window glass and door frame were discovered on the front of the home No items were reported missing and no persons were discovered inside.

6:16 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at a residence on McTeer Street.

2:55 p.m. – A black Dodge Avenger was stopped for speeding on I-95 North around the 25 mile marker where driver Patricia J. Garraway was found to be operating under a suspended South Carolina driver’s license stemming from unpaid traffic ticket violations. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as the vehicle was released to a licensed passenger with Garraway’s permission.

3:05 p.m. – A complaint was filed at the McDonalds Restaurant at 8548 Grahamville Road in reference to a customer accidentally leaving a black backpack inside of the business while having dinner on December 14th. The bag was said to contain personal items including a bank card which was immediately cancelled by the complainant without incident.

3:16 p.m. – A Ford Taurus and a Lincoln Town Car were involved in a collision at the intersection of Grays Highway and North Green Street. Two occupants were transported by EMS to Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville.

7:49 p.m. – A report of gunshots being fired was filed on West Adams Street.

8:08 p.m. – A Chevy Impala and a Dodge Journey were involved in a collision in the parking lot of the EZ Stop IV Station at 80 Blue Heron Drive. No injuries were reported.

10:38 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at Ken’s Tire Service Center at 10464 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a black male.

10:56 p.m. – A verbal domestic dispute between a husband and wife was reported at a residence on Wise Street. The male party left the area without incident prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

12:33 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue in reference to a burgundy Buick passenger car.

10:00 a.m. – A burglary was reported at the Ridgeland Boys & Girls Club at 913 Grays Highway after a staff member discovered a shattered rear window and missing items from the concession room. The entire incident was captured on surveillance video which is being reviewed for suspect identification and pending charges.

11:24 a.m. – A larceny was reported at the ATV Warehouse at 8167 East Main Street after a black male stole a cell phone belonging to a distracted staff member.

1:59 p.m. – A black BMW and a black Toyota Camry were involved in a collision at the intersection of North Jacob Smart Boulevard and Wilson Street with minor injuries reported.

4:29 p.m. – An attempted shoplifting was reported at the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 8225 East Main Street after a black male attempted to conceal a set of headphones while inside the store. When confronted by store Management the suspect dropped the item on the floor and left the area on foot along with another black male and a black female. The same suspect attempted to steal headphones during a previously unreported incident on December 11th but returned them to Management when confronted in the parking lot and warned that Law Enforcement would be notified unless the item was returned.

4:52 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 15 mile marker in reference to a black Toyota Scion.

5:37 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported in the area of North Green and West Main Street in reference to a black male knocking on residential windows.

6:04 p.m. – A noise complaint was filed in reference to a barking dog outside of a residence on West Smith Street.

6:34 p.m. – A shoplifting occurred at the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street after two black males entered the store and coordinated a theft by one of them distracting the on duty clerk as the other stole two cartons of cigarettes. Surveillance video is being reviewed for suspect identification and pending charges.

7:36 p.m. – A tan 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing South Carolina tag number IGT-344 was stolen from the parking lot of the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street by a black male after being left unlocked with the engine running while the owner entered to store. Surveillance video is being reviewed for suspect identification and pending charges.

DECEMBER 13, 2015

12:10 p.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to an assault at a residence on Orange Grove Road in the Mitchellville Community after Rodney Wright, 46 of Ridgeland SC, threatened an 11 year old male juvenile with a knife stemming from an unreported verbal dispute earlier in the day. After gathering statements and evidence a warrant affidavit was issued by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office against Wright charging him with assault & battery 3rd.

2:13 p.m. – A black Dodge Durango and a silver Mercedes passenger car were involved in a collision on Highway 17 South at the Green Street intersection. One occupant was transported by EMS to Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville.

2:48 p.m. – A possible domestic dispute between a male and a female was reported at the intersection of Grays Highway and North Jacob Smart Boulevard after the female party exited the vehicle and appeared to be attempting to get away from the male driver.

4:04 p.m. – A heavyset black male was reportedly asking customers and passers by for money in the parking lot of the Dollar General Store at 8123 East Main Street.

4:26 p.m. – A white Toyota Camry was stopped on I-95 North around the 19 mile marker where driver Thomas Patrick Byrne was found to be operating while under the influence of alcohol and in possession of several open containers of beer as well as under a suspended New Jersey driver’s license. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as the vehicle was released to a licensed passenger.

5:31 p.m. – A civil dispute was reported at the Travelodge Motel at 8216 East Main Street in reference to a disagreement between Management and a tenant regarding payment.

6:13 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at a residence on East Main Street in reference to a heavyset Hispanic female harassing the complainant.

7:06 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 19 mile marker in reference to a blue SUV towing a U-Haul trailer.

8:16 p.m. – A silver GMC Envoy was stopped at the intersection of Grays Highway and Oak Plantation Drive after a check of the displayed license plate revealed it to be under a state of suspension as well as being registered to a Chevy van. The driver of the vehicle, Jess Lane Cordell Jr., was found to be operating under a suspended South Carolina driver’s license at which time he was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as Blatchley’s Towing took possession of the vehicle.

8:53 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Ridgeland Boys & Girls Club at 913 Grays Highway.

11:30 p.m. – A domestic dispute between a male and a female was reported at a residence on Shadetree Street in the Carters Mill Estates Community.

11:55 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at a residence on Shadetree Street in the Carters Mill Estates Community after Patrol Officers spotted an open door on an unoccupied black Lexus passenger car. The vehicle owner was soon located who stated that he was aware of the open door.

DECEMBER 12, 2015

9:42 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 20 mile marker in reference to a white Kia passenger car.

11:11 a.m. – A property damage report was filed at a residence on North Logan Street after the homeowner discovered the rear window of his Toyota Rav4 had been shattered by an unknown person during the nighttime hours.

11:39 a.m. – A welfare check was conducted at a residence on Shadetree Street in the Carters Mill Estates Community in reference to threatening text messages sent to the complainant on Hilton Head Island from a relative at the Ridgeland address.

12:24 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Jasper County Board of Disabilities Office at 191 Hagin Drive.

12:24 p.m. – A Polaris Sno-Pro trailer was towed from the area of the exit 21 exit ramp on I-95 South by A-1 Towing after having been left unattended on the side of the roadway for more than 72 hours.

1:06 p.m. – A group of juveniles at a residence at Heron Crossing Apartments at 72 Heron Crossing Drive discharged a BB gun causing damage to the outer pane of a bedroom window of a separate apartment.

2:33 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted on a black female outside of the Jasper County DSS Office at 10908 North Jacob Smart Boulevard after a 911 call was received concerning her not moving for more than 20 minutes.

2:35 p.m. – A complaint was received from a customer at the Dollar General Store at 8123 East Main Street concerning a black male walking to various East Main Street businesses asking customers and passers by for money.

3:39 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported behind the Ridgeland Eye Associates Office at 10668 South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

4:42 p.m. – A group of juvenile males were reportedly loitering on the business property of the Quality Inn Motel at 221 James Taylor Drive.

8:48 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted at the Short Stop BP Station at 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a homeless black male.

8:53 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the intersection of West Main and Russell Street in reference to a white Hyundai Sonata.

9:50 p.m. – A harassment complaint was filed at the Main Street Barbecue Restaurant at 8084 East Main Street.

11:37 p.m. – A blue Hyundai Accent was stopped for a driving without headlights violation in front of the McDonalds Restaurant at 8548 Grahamville Road where driver Tommy James Holmes was found to be operating under a suspended South Carolina driver’s license. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as the vehicle was released to a licensed passenger.

11:55 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Bobops Station at 8548 Grahamville Road.

DECEMBER 11, 2015

5:42 a.m. – A 911 call was received from a 27 year old female at a residence at Woodridge Apartments at 414 South Logan Street in reference to her ex-boyfriend attempting to force entry into her home. Brandon Melvin Howard ultimately kicked in the front door at which time he grabbed the female by the throat and struck her in the face knocking her to the floor. As responding Officers arrived on scene Howard attempted to flee through a back door and resisted being taken into custody without success. A check of his record revealed him to be listed as a wanted person by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an outstanding criminal domestic violence warrant involving the same female victim which also yielded an order of protection recently being issued by the Magistrate’s Office. Howard was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center where he is currently being held awaiting a bond hearing.

8:17 a.m. – A blue Chrysler 200 was stopped for speeding on I-95 South around the 19 mile marker where rear seat passenger Earnest I. Geiger, 41 of Bar Harbor ME, was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. He was cited for the offense and assigned a court date prior to leaving the area.

10:47 a.m. – A male and a female were reportedly hitchhiking on I-95 North around the 17 mile marker.

11:05 a.m. – A routine check of surveillance footage at the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street revealed three black males stealing store items on December 10th at 5:40 p.m. before leaving the area in a red Nissan Altima. 11:57 a.m. – A domestic dispute was reported at a rented room at the Plantation Inn Motel at 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

12:39 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Dollar General Store at 8123 East Main Street in reference to a black male listed as a wanted person by the Ridgeland Police Department.

1:41 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at a residence on Ike Street in the North Ridge Community in reference to a white male with long dark hair climbing the fence of a residence and tampering with windows on the back of the home. The suspect left the area driving a silver Chevy Tahoe prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

2:58 p.m. – A gold Chevy Suburban, a gray Chevy Equinox and a blue Ford Focus were involved in a collision on I-95 South around the 17 mile marker. No injuries were reported.

8:18 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 8225 East Main Street in reference to a black male juvenile allegedly stealing store items.

12:07 a.m. – A black Chevy S-10 pickup was stopped for a defective lighting and obstructed tag violation on Great Swamp Road at the First Avenue intersection where driver Daniel Ernest York was found to be operating with no vehicle registration or proof of insurance in his possession as well as under a suspended South Carolina driver’s license stemming from a previous DUI conviction. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as the vehicle was released to a licensed driver with York’s permission.

1:31 a.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the intersection of Carolina Wren Drive and Stellars Jay Road in reference to a white male in a Ford Expedition.

1:50 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in front of Heron Crossing Apartments at 72 Heron Crossing Drive in reference to a white Chevy passenger car.

6:15 a.m. – A tractor trailer was reportedly obstructing the view of other drivers while parked outside of a business at the intersection of East Main Street and South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

9:41 a.m. – A Ford F150 pickup was stopped for speeding on Old House Road at the Good Hope Plantation intersection where driver Robert McCaskill Goddard, 21 of Ridgeland SC, was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. He was cited for the offenses and assigned a court date prior to leaving the area.

9:44 a.m. – A harassment report was filed at the Short Stop BP Station at 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to an incident that occurred moments before at the intersection of Captain Bill and Preacher Road where two female drivers were involved in a verbal dispute after one blew her car horn at the other.

12:05 p.m. – Dakota Mathew Jefferies, 20 of Ridgeland SC, was placed on trespass notice for the property of Ridge Point Apartments at 669 North Green Street after being spotted by Patrol Officers on North Railroad Avenue stemming from numerous loitering complaints.

1:40 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on Highway 462 in reference to a blue passenger car traveling in excess of 100 mph. The vehicle was stopped shortly after by Jasper County Deputies on Rice Shire Road where driver Santee Guy Rabon, 20 of Beaufort SC, was found to be operating under a suspended South Carolina driver’s license with a previous conviction for driving under suspension appearing on his record. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center under the charge of driving under suspension 2nd.

5:18 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 14 mile marker in reference to a red Ford Mustang.

6:21 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Grayco Building Supply Store at 119 Industrial Park Road.

6:44 p.m. – A report of gunshots being fired was filed in the Bees Creek Plantation Community.

8:19 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Ridgeland Boys & Girls Club at 913 Grays Highway in reference to a silver Dodge Stratus.

10:26 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Palmetto Isotopes Pharmacy at 410 Old House Road.

DECEMBER 9, 2015

12:02 a.m. – A theft was reported at a residence at Baytree Apartments at 107 First Avenue after the ex-boyfriend of the complainant took her silver Hyundai Sonata without her permission. The male returned the vehicle without further incident approximately one hour later at which point he allegedly began making threatening phone calls to the female.

8:54 a.m. – A domestic dispute between a Mother and daughter was reported at a residence at Logan Lane Apartments at 544 South Logan Street.

1:22 p.m. – An assault was reported at the Jasper County Detention Center at 12008 North Jacob Smart Boulevard involving two staff members.

2:46 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 18 mile marker in reference to a gold Nissan Maxima.

3:44 p.m. – A larceny was reported at the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store after a customer returned to his vehicle left unlocked in the parking lot and discovered several items missing.

5:49 p.m. – Kelly Anne Maloney, 31 of Attleboro MA, was placed on trespass notice for The Palms Motel at the Property Manager’s request following a dispute over loud music with a fellow tenant. She was allowed to remain on the property overnight due to being intoxicated at the time of this incident.

8:03 p.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to a domestic dispute between a 30 year old male and his pregnant 21 year old girlfriend at a residence on Oak Hill Road. The female victim and her sister were reportedly struck during a dispute with the male who left the area on foot prior to Law Enforcement arrival. Neither party wished to pursue charges at which time Officers cleared the area after being unable to locate the male. Moments later a second 911 call was received from the same residence after the male returned and reportedly struck a 16 year old male inside of the home before again fleeing the area. The juvenile declined pursuing charges.

8:20 p.m. – A group of suspicious males were reported behind a residence in the Oakridge Trailer Park Community.

9:35 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Carolina Lodge Motel at 8260 East Main Street in reference to a black male allegedly lying in wait in a row of bushes and approaching the male complainant in an aggressive manner when he exited his vehicle in the parking lot. Another vehicle entered the parking lot just before the suspect could reach the complainant resulting in him turning and fleeing the area on foot running North across East Main Street.

DECEMBER 8, 2015

5:52 a.m. – A white Nissan Altima was involved in a single vehicle collision on I-95 North around the 21 mile marker after striking a deer in the roadway. The female driver was entrapped in the overturned vehicle for a short time until removed by the responding Officer. No injuries were reported.

11:03 a.m. – A white Toyota 4Runner was stopped for speeding on I-95 North around the 22 mile marker where driver Peter Crowe Fontaine was issued a citation and assigned a court date. As the Officer explained the court date and options Fontaine began cursing and placed the vehicle into gear and attempted to speed away resulting in the vehicle sliding sideways on the roadway shoulder. A second traffic stop was initiated at which time Fontaine was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as the vehicle was released to a licensed passenger.

1:17 p.m. – A harassment complaint was filed at a residence on Wiley Street in reference to a female acquaintance of the complainant causing problems.

1:23 p.m. – A brown Dodge Charger was stopped for a lane change violation on I-95 North at the exit 21 off ramp where driver Daniel James Derose, 52 of Palm Bay FL, was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. He was cited for the offense and assigned a court date prior to leaving the area.

1:32 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 20 mile marker in reference to a tan passenger car.

2:22 p.m. – A harassment complaint was filed at a residence at Heron Crossing Apartments at 209 Heron Crossing Road in reference to suspicious text messages and phone calls.

3:02 p.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies in responding to a report of numerous gunshots being fired on Lowcountry Drive. Upon arrival a male subject was located firing a shotgun at a tree limb in front of his residence in an attempt to remove it.

5:31 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at a residence on Bailey Lane.

6:09 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Family Dollar Store at 73 South Green Street in reference to a black male loitering in the parking lot area.

6:59 p.m. – A stray pit bull was reportedly chasing children in the parking lot of the Ridgeland Coin Laundry at 10246 South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

9:11 p.m. – A 43 year old female was robbed at gunpoint by three black males while walking East on James Taylor Drive between Harveys Grocery Store and the EZ Stop IV Station. The suspects were last seen fleeing the area on foot running South towards East Main Street.

10:00 p.m. – A property damage complaint was filed at a residence on Myrtle Place after Walter Aaron Abram was witnessed puncturing one of the complainant’s vehicle tires stemming from a disagreement earlier in the evening. Abrams was located at his residence directly behind the victim’s home where he was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

DECEMBER 7, 2015

1:17 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the truck parking area on I-95 North at the 17 mile marker.

3:14 a.m. – A red Ford F150 pickup was involved in a single vehicle collision on I-95 North around the 23 mile marker after the driver lost control and flipped the vehicle ultimately coming to a stop after striking a tree. No injuries were reported.

9:31 a.m. – A complaint was filed at the Check Into Cash Store at 8225 East Main Street in reference to several checks being returned for insufficient funds on the account of a local business. The complainant was forwarded to the Jasper County Solicitor’s Office Worthless Check Department.

9:34 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 12 mile marker in reference to a black Ford Expedition.

10:17 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 23 mile marker in reference to a gray Toyota Sequoia.

11:07 a.m. – Officers responding to a report of a male subject walking in the Oakridge Trailer Park Community armed with a crossbow spotted Jesus M. Guerra firing arrows in the direction of a small group of trees bordering North Green Street. While speaking with Guerra he was found to be under the influence of alcohol and ultimately found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana as well as two containers of alcohol resulting in him being placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

12:49 p.m. – A property damage report was filed at the Chief Cornerstone Church at 107 Brabham Street in reference to an awning in front of the building. The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday December 3rd but remained unreported until today’s date.

2:02 p.m. – A black Ford F150 pickup was stopped for multiple moving violations on I-95 North around the 21 mile marker where driver Brain P. Hale was found to be operating under a suspended New Jersey driver’s license as well as being in possession of a quantity of heroin. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as Blatchley’s Towing took possession of the vehicle.

2:32 p.m. – A white Peterbilt tractor trailer hauling produce was involved in a single vehicle collision on I-95 North around the 22 mile marker after the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle onto it’s side. No injuries were reported.

3:07 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted at the Mary Gordon Ellis Executive Building at 651 Grays Highway after an open line 911 call was received by Jasper County Emergency Services.

4:14 p.m. – Four juveniles were reportedly shooting fireworks towards passing vehicles on Grays Highway at the Weathersbee Street intersection.

4:53 p.m. – A civil dispute was reported at a residence on Oakridge South in the Oakridge Trailer Park Community in reference to a 17 year old male being told to leave the property by his Mother.

6:37 p.m. – A green Toyota Corolla was involved in a collision on East Main Street at the South Jacob Smart Boulevard intersection after striking a tan Ford Taurus which then continued traveling East. No injuries were reported.

6:53 p.m. – A U-Haul trailer was removed from the I-95 South exit 18 off ramp by J&M Towing after being found partially blocking the roadway.

7:32 p.m. – A black male armed with a handgun reportedly forced a 19 year old male victim into the passenger seat of a silver Toyota Camry at gunpoint in front of the Ridgeland Weekly Rentals at 67 West Woodlawn Street and drove him to a residence on Tammy Drive where the victim was able to exit the vehicle and flee on foot while being fired at by the suspect who then left the area prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

12:59 a.m. – A suspicious person was reportedly riding a moped in the area of Forest Avenue.

1:36 a.m. – A noise complaint was filed at a residence on Grays Highway in reference to barking dogs at a neighboring home.

2:24 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Blue Heron Nature Center at 321 Bailey Lane in reference to a red Chevy pickup.

4:21 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at Ned’s Pub & Grub at 11090 North Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a white Ford F150 pickup.

5:45 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the I-95 exit 18 area in reference to a tan Hyundai passenger car.

4:30 p.m. – A possibly intoxicated driver operating a silver Buick passenger car was reported on Captain Bill Road.

4:59 p.m. – A report of a male subject selling illegal narcotics was filed at the Travelodge Motel at 8216 East Main Street.

12:10 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at a residence on West Main Street.

7:04 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 28 mile marker in reference to a dark colored SUV.

7:37 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Ridgeland Boys & Girls Club at 913 Grays Highway.

8:12 a.m. – A suspicious package was reported left lying on the steps of the Jasper County School District Office at 10942 North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

8:41 a.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Jasper County Courthouse at 265 Russell Street.

12:13 p.m. – A civil dispute was reported at the Boat & RV Megastore at 401 Sycamore Drive in reference to paperwork not yet received by a customer stemming from a July 9th 2015 camper purchase.

12:43 p.m. – A pink bicycle was discovered abandoned in the Oak Plantation Commons Community. It was seized by the responding Officer and secured at the Ridgeland Police Department pending return to the rightful owner.

3:26 p.m. – A trespassing complaint was filed at a residence at Ridge Point Apartments at 669 North Green Street in reference to a white male being on the property after previously being placed on trespass notice. The subject left the area prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

3:29 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store at 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a black male being on scene who was previously involved in a January 19th 2015 shoplifting incident.

6:24 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Beacon of Hope Learning Center at 11332 North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

6:35 p.m. – A silver Hyundai was stopped for a defective headlight violation at the intersection of North Green and Wilson Street where driver Shakerra Shontae Garner was found to be operating under a suspended South Carolina driver’s license. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as the vehicle was released to a licensed passenger with Garner’s permission.

9:45 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Boat & RV Megastore at 401 Sycamore Drive in reference to a white pickup.

9:36 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at a residence on East Main Street in reference to a gray Kia Optima.

11:05 a.m. – A black male consuming alcohol while driving a silver Jeep was reportedly traveling East on Smiths Crossing from the Haphazard Road intersection.

11:09 a.m. – Two males were reported missing from the area of the Citgo Station at 107 Sycamore Drive after failing to show up for work with an interstate sign company.

12:33 p.m. – A stray blue pit bull was reportedly wandering on I-95 South around the 19 mile marker.

12:47 p.m. – A male subject was reportedly standing in front of the SCDOT Facility at 150 East Woodlawn Street making obscene gestures towards passing motorists.

1:43 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported in the parking lot of the Pizza Bella Restaurant at 8196 East Main Street in reference to a black male attempting to open the doors of various vehicles.

3:17 p.m. – Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Exit Realty Office at 10616 South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

3:36 p.m. – A white German Shepherd was reported missing from the backyard of a residence on Captain Bill Road.

4:32 p.m. – A black Nissan Altima was stopped on I-95 North around the 22 mile marker where driver Marlon D. Major was found to be operating under a suspended California driver’s license. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center as the vehicle was released to the registered owner.

4:41 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 27 mile marker in reference to a burgundy passenger car.

4:48 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Gulf Station at 8250 East Main Street in reference to a brown Ford Taurus.

5:00 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Jalisco Tienda Tortilleria at 7790 West Main Street in reference to a Hispanic male asking customers and passers by for money and identification to purchase narcotics.

6:22 p.m. – A harassment complaint was filed at a residence on Bailey Lane in reference to threatening Facebook posts.

9:46 p.m. – Ridgeland Officers assisted Jasper County Deputies at the Waffle House Restaurant at 8185 East Main Street in reference to service of an outstanding fraudulent check warrant against employee Erika Lavern Binkowski, 37 of Pineland SC. She was placed under arrest by Deputies and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

10:54 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the intersection of Smiths Crossing and Bees Creek Road in reference to a maroon Ford F350 pickup towing a horse trailer.

DECEMBER 2, 2015

3:44 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Citgo Station at 107 Sycamore Drive in reference to a brown passenger car.

10:30 a.m. – A forgery report was filed by an Estill SC resident after the complainant’s bank statement revealed several checks had been stolen from her residence and cashed in the Ridgeland and Beaufort areas on October 20th 2015. After collecting evidence at the Ridgeland Check Into Cash Store at 8225 East Main Street Officers were able to positively identify the victim’s granddaughter Janine Nicole Defibaugh, 30 of Early Branch SC, as the person who committed the crimes. A warrant has been issued for her arrest under the charge of forgery and the information has been forwarded to the Beaufort Police Department to assist in their investigation.

3:37 p.m. – A gold Buick was stopped for speeding on I-95 South around the 19 mile marker where driver Thomas Lee Riley II was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center in reference to an outstanding warrant issued against him by the Ridgeland Police Department. Riley’s charges stemmed from a November 20th 2015 assault in the parking lot of Heron Crossing Apartments at 72 Heron Crossing Drive where he struck a male victim from the side without provocation or just cause and then fled the area prior to Law Enforcement arrival.

5:15 p.m. – An assault was reported at a residence at Logan Lane Apartments at 544 South Logan Street in reference to an unreported incident that occurred earlier in the afternoon at the Subway Restaurant at 8234 East Main Street involving a female threatening to shoot the complainant stemming from a dispute over a male.

6:14 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported behind a residence on East Main Street.

8:42 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at Turpin Park at 901 North Logan Street in reference to a green Honda Accord.

10:30 p.m. – A welfare check was conducted at the Siesta Motel at 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a report of children crying.

4:28 a.m. – A suspicious person was reported at the Travelodge Motel at 8216 East Main Street in reference to a black male.

5:06 a.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 17 mile marker in reference to a silver Nissan Titan.

2:13 p.m. – Richard Louis Sullivan was placed under arrest and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center after being witnessed purchasing a quantity of crack cocaine from a black male driving a blue Chevy passenger car in the parking lot of the Dollar General Store at 8123 East Main Street.

2:53 p.m. – A property damage complaint was filed by a motorist traveling North on I-95 in reference to a RV window glass being shattered by an unknown source around the 20 mile marker.

5:24 p.m. – A white male driving a green Toyota Camry was reportedly asking customers and passers by for money in the parking lot of the Exxon Station at 8310 East Main Street.

5:54 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 North around the 18 mile marker in reference to a tractor trailer.

10:44 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported on I-95 South around the 21 mile marker in reference to a white pickup towing a boat.
